Candidates should present: (1) Pre-assessment screening: NRS-2002 (inpatients) or MNA (elderly) or MUST (community), (2) Anthropometric: weight, height, BMI, waist circumference, mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), % weight loss from usual body weight, (3) Biochemical: albumin, prealbumin, transferrin, lymphocyte count, glucose, lipid profile, micronutrients (iron, zinc, vitamin D), (4) Clinical: physical examination for nutritional deficiency signs (skin, hair, nails, edema), assessment of chewing and swallowing function, (5) Dietary: 24-hour recall interview, food frequency questionnaire, eating habits, food allergies, religious/cultural restrictions, (6) Reference Vietnamese Ministry of Health Clinical Nutrition Guidelines 2021.
